حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ أَبِي إ

ِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ كَانَ فِيمَا اشْتَرَطَ أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ بِسِلَاحٍ إِلَّا سِلَاحٍ فِي قِرَابٍ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us: al-Ḥajjāj informed us, from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: Among the conditions the people of Makkah stipulated upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was that none of his Companions would enter with weapons except weapons in their sheaths (qirāb).
