حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَلْجٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَكَمِ عَلِيٌّ ا

لْبَصْرِيُّ عَن أَبِي بَحْرٍ عَن الْبَرَاءِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ الْتَقَيَا فَأَخَذَ أَحَدُهُمَا بِيَدِ صَاحِبِهِ ثُمَّ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ تَفَرَّقَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُمَا خَطِيئَةٌ

English Translation

Ḥasan ibn Mūsā narrated to us: Zuhayr narrated to us: Abū Balj Yaḥyā ibn Abī Sulaym narrated to us: Abū al-Ḥakam ʿAlī al-Baṣrī narrated to us, from Abū Baḥr, from al-Barāʾ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Any two Muslims who meet and one of them takes the hand of his companion, then praises Allah — they will part with no sin between them."
