English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated from Isrāʾīl, from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Barāʾ, who said: 'the Prophet ﷺ was at al-Ḥudaybiyah, and al-Ḥudaybiyah is a well. He said: And we were fourteen hundred. He said: There was little water in it. He said: So he drew a bucket, then rinsed his mouth, then spat [into the well] and supplicated. He said: So we drank to our fill and watered [our animals] to their fill.'
