English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated from Shuʿbah, from Abū Isḥāq, who said: I heard al-Barāʾ saying: 'A silk garment was given as a gift to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and his companions began touching it and marveling at its softness. He said: "You marvel at the softness of this? The handkerchiefs of Saʿd ibn Muʿādh in Paradise are better than this" — or: "softer."'
