English Translation

ʿAffān narrated from Shuʿbah, from ʿAwn ibn Abī Juḥayfah, who said: I heard my father narrating from the Prophet ﷺ that he prayed at al-Baṭḥāʾ with a short spear (ʿanazah) before him — the Ẓuhr two rakʿahs and the ʿAṣr two rakʿahs — and women and donkeys would pass behind it.
