English Translation
ʿAffān narrated from Shuʿbah, from al-Ḥakam, who said: I heard Abū Juḥayfah say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out at midday and prayed the Ẓuhr at al-Baṭḥāʾ two rakʿahs and the ʿAṣr two rakʿahs, with a short spear (ʿanazah) before him. He performed ablution, and the people began taking from the leftover water of his ablution.' In the hadith of ʿAwn: 'Women and donkeys would pass behind it.'
