English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated from Abān ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Bajalī — my uncles narrated to me, from their grandfather Ṣakhr ibn ʿAylah — that some people of Banū Sulaym fled from their land when Islam came, so I took it. Then they accepted Islam and disputed with me about it before the Prophet ﷺ. He returned it to them and said: 'When a man accepts Islam, he has more right to his land and his wealth.'
