English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Ādam narrated from Zuhayr, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, who said: I heard Jundub ibn Sufyān say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill and did not stand [for night prayer] for two or three nights. A woman came to him and said: "O Muḥammad, I have not seen him [i.e., your companion] come near you for two or three nights." So Allah عز وجل revealed: "By the morning brightness, and by the night when it covers with darkness. Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased" [93:1-3].'
