‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏وَكِيعٌ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْمَسْعُودِيِّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏أَهْلُ بَيْتِي ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ وَيَضَعُ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى يَسَارِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ‏

English Translation

Wakīʿ narrated to us, from al-Masʿūdī, from ʿAbd al-Jabbār ibn Wāʾil — my family narrated to me, from my father — that he saw the Prophet ﷺ raising his hands with the takbīr and placing his right hand over his left hand in the prayer.
