Wakīʿ narrated to us, from al-Masʿūdī, from ʿAbd al-Jabbār ibn Wāʾil — my family narrated to me, from my father — that he saw the Prophet ﷺ raising his hands with the takbīr and placing his right hand over his left hand in the prayer.
