English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Ādam narrated to us, Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from ʿAbd al-Jabbār ibn Wāʾil, from his father who said: I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and a man said: 'All praise is due to Allah — abundant, pure, and blessed praise.' When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished praying, he said: 'Who was the one who said that?' The man said: 'It was me, O Messenger of Allah, and I intended nothing but good.' He said: 'The gates of heaven were opened for it, and nothing held it back until it reached the Throne.'
