ِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ لَا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَمْ آخِرُهُ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, Ziyād Abū ʿUmar narrated to us, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿAmmār ibn Yāsir who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The likeness of my ummah is like rain — it is not known whether its beginning is better or its end.'
