English Translation
Wakīʿ and Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, both saying: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Yaʿqūb ibn Baḥīr, from Ḍirār ibn al-Azwar who said: My family sent me with a milch-camel — Abū Muʿāwiyah said: with a pregnant camel — to the Prophet ﷺ. I brought it to him, and he ordered me to milk it. Then he said: 'Leave the caller of the milk [i.e., leave enough for the suckling calf].' Abū Muʿāwiyah said: 'Do not exhaust it.'
