Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِ
ي رَجُلٌ مَنْ النَّمِرِ بْنِ قَاسِطٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ صُهَيْبَ بْنَ سِنَانٍ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ امْرَأَةً صَدَاقًا وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهُ إِلَيْهَا فَغَرَّهَا بِاللَّهِ وَاسْتَحَلَّ فَرْجَهَا بِالْبَاطِلِ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ زَانٍ وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ ادَّانَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ دَيْنًا وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهُ إِلَيْهِ فَغَرَّهُ بِاللَّهِ وَاسْتَحَلَّ مَالَهُ بِالْبَاطِلِ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ سَارِقٌ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Jaʿfar informed us, from al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad al-Anṣārī, who said: A man from al-Namir ibn Qāsiṭ narrated to me, he said: I heard Ṣuhayb ibn Sinān narrating. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Any man who pledges a dowry to a woman while Allah knows that he does not intend to pay it to her — he has deceived her by invoking Allah and has taken her private parts through falsehood. He will meet Allah on the Day he meets Him as an adulterer. And any man who borrows a debt from another while Allah knows that he does not intend to repay it — he has deceived him by invoking Allah and has taken his wealth through falsehood. He will meet Allah عز وجل on the Day he meets Him as a thief."
