Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَعْمَرَ الدِّيلِيَّ يَقُولُ شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم
َ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ فَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ الْحَجُّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَجُّ حَجُّ عَرَفَةَ مَنْ جَاءَ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ مِنْ لَيْلَةِ جَمْعٍ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ أَيَّامُ مِنًى ثَلَاثَةٌ { فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ } ثُمَّ أَرْدَفَ خَلْفَهُ فَجَعَلَ يُنَادِي بِهِنَّ

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from Bukayr ibn ʿAṭāʾ al-Laythī, who said: I heard ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yaʿmar al-Dīlī saying: I witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was standing at ʿArafah. People from the people of Najd came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, how is the Ḥajj performed?" the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Ḥajj is ʿArafah. Whoever arrives before the Fajr prayer on the night of Jamʿ (Muzdalifah), his Ḥajj is complete. The days of Minā are three: {whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him} [2:203]." Then he seated someone behind him on his mount, and that person began calling out these instructions.
