English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, Abū Isrāʾīl al-Jushamī narrated to us, from an elder of theirs called Jaʿdah, that the Prophet ﷺ had a dream about a man. He sent for him, and the man came and began recounting it to him. The man had a large belly. the Prophet ﷺ kept pointing at his belly with his finger, saying: "If this were in something other than this, it would be better for you."
