English Translation
Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ḥumayd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf narrated to me, from al-Sāʾib ibn Yazīd, from al-ʿAlāʾ ibn al-Ḥaḍramī — if Allah wills — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The emigrant may stay in Makkah after the completion of his pilgrimage rites for three days." He said: It was very hard for Ibn ʿUyaynah to say "narrated to us."
