حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ زِ
يَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ وَهَنَاتٌ فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ أَمْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وَهِيَ جَمِيعٌ فَاضْرِبُوهُ بِالسَّيْفِ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Ziyād ibn ʿIlāqah who said: I heard ʿArfajah رضي الله عنه say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There will be trials and tribulations, so whoever seeks to divide the affair of this ummah while it is united, strike him with the sword, whoever he may be.'
