حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ ذَرٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ يُسَيْعٍ عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ

اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ { وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمْ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ }

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Dharr al-Hamdānī, from Yusayʿ, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, supplication is worship.' Then he recited: {And your Lord says: Call upon Me; I will respond to you.}
