حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرٍ مَوْلَى النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ أَنَّهُ رُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ غَشِيَ جَارِيَةَ امْرَأَتِهِ ف
َقَالَ لَأَقْضِيَنَّ فِيهَا بِقَضِيَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ كَانَتْ أَحَلَّتْهَا لَكَ جَلَدْتُكَ مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ لَمْ تُحِلَّهَا لَكَ رَجَمْتُكَ قَالَ فَوَجَدَهَا قَدْ كَانَتْ أَحَلَّتْهَا لَهُ فَجَلَدَهُ مِائَةً

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar and ʿAbdullāh ibn Bakr narrated to us — they said: Saʿīd narrated to us, from Qatādah, from Ḥabīb ibn Sālim — Ibn Bakr said: the mawlā of al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr — from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr: that a man who had intercourse with his wife's slave-girl was brought to him. He said: 'I shall judge in this with the judgment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: if she had permitted her to you, I will lash you one hundred lashes; and if she had not permitted her to you, I will stone you.' He found that she had permitted her to him, so he lashed him one hundred.
