حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامٌ أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ ا
لْقَارِي حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَوْ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالرَّجُلِ الْوَاحِدِ إِذَا وَجِعَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ جَسَدِهِ

English Translation
Muʿāwiyah ibn ʿAbdillāh ibn Muʿāwiyah ibn ʿĀṣim ibn al-Mundhir ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us: Sallām Abū al-Mundhir al-Qāriʾ narrated to us: ʿĀṣim ibn Bahdalah narrated to us, from al-Shaʿbī or Khaythamah, from al-Nuʿmān who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The likeness of the Muslims is like a single person: when something of him hurts, the rest of his body responds.'
