حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو وَكِيعٍ الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَلِيحٍ عَنْ
أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ الْقَلِيلَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ الْكَثِيرَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ اللَّهَ التَّحَدُّثُ بِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ شُكْرٌ وَتَرْكُهَا كُفْرٌ وَالْجَمَاعَةُ رَحْمَةٌ وَالْفُرْقَةُ عَذَابٌ

English Translation
ʿAbdullāh narrated to us: Manṣūr ibn Abī Muzāḥim narrated to us: Abū Wakīʿ al-Jarrāḥ ibn Malīḥ narrated to us, from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from al-Shaʿbī, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: the Prophet ﷺ said upon the minbar: 'Whoever does not give thanks for the little will not give thanks for the much. Whoever does not give thanks to the people does not give thanks to Allah. Speaking of the blessings of Allah is gratitude, and leaving it is ingratitude. The community is mercy and division is punishment.'
