حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ رَأَى قَوْمًا يُصَلُّونَ فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءَ مِنْ الضُّحَى فَقَالَ أَمَا لَقَدْ عَلِمُوا أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ ف
ِي غَيْرِ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ صَلَاةَ الْأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَأُنَاسٌ يُصَلُّونَ

English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam saw people praying in the mosque of Qubāʾ during the Ḍuḥā time. He said: 'They already know that prayer at a time other than this is better. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The prayer of the penitent (al-awwābīn) is when the young camels' hooves burn (from the midday heat).' He said on one occasion: and some people were praying.
