Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَيْسٌ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ قَالَ يَا زَيْدُ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ أَمَا

عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوُ صَيْدٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ قَالَ بَلَى
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that ibn ʿAbbās asked Zayd ibn Arqam: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say anything about game meat while in the state of iḥrām?' He said: 'He was given a haunch of game meat and he returned it, saying: "We do not eat it; we are in the state of iḥrām."'
