حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ رَأَى نَاسًا يُصَلُّونَ فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءَ مِنْ الضُّحَى فَقَالَ أَمَا
لَقَدْ عَلِمُوا أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي غَيْرِ السَّاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ صَلَاةَ الْأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam narrated that he saw people praying in the mosque of Qubāʾ during the forenoon. He said: 'They certainly know that prayer at a time other than this is more virtuous. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The prayer of the penitent (awwābīn) is when the young camels feel the heat of the sand."'
