Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِ
يِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَتَبَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ إِلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يُعَزِّيهِ بِمَنْ أُصِيبَ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ وَقَوْمِهِ يَوْمَ الْحَرَّةِ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ وَأُبَشِّرُكَ بِبُشْرَى مِنْ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِنِسَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِنِسَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِنِسَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ

English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he wrote to Anas ibn Mālik consoling him for those of his children and people who were killed on the Day of al-Ḥarrah. He wrote to him: 'I give you glad tidings of a glad tiding from Allah عز وجل, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "O Allah, forgive the Anṣār, and the sons of the Anṣār, and the sons of the sons of the Anṣār, and the wives of the Anṣār, and the wives of the sons of the Anṣār, and the wives of the sons of the sons of the Anṣār."'
