حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ الْخَفَّافِ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ وَصَاحِبُ الْقَرْنِ قَدْ الْتَقَمَ الْقَرْنَ وَحَنَى جَبْهَتَهُ وَأَصْغَى السَّمْعَ مَتَى يُؤْمَرُ قَالَ فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ف
َشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُولُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'How can I be at ease when the one with the Horn has already placed the Horn to his lips and bent his forehead, listening for when he will be commanded?' The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard this and it distressed them. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Say: Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.'
