حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو وَكِيعٍ الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَلِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِي ع
َبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ الْقَلِيلَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ الْكَثِيرَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالتَّحَدُّثُ بِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ شُكْرٌ وَتَرْكُهَا كُفْرٌ وَالْجَمَاعَةُ رَحْمَةٌ وَالْفُرْقَةُ عَذَابٌ

English Translation
Al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr narrated: the Prophet ﷺ said upon the minbar: 'Whoever is not grateful for the little will not be grateful for the much. And whoever does not thank people does not thank Allah عز وجل. Speaking of the blessings of Allah is gratitude, and ignoring them is ingratitude. The community is a mercy and division is a punishment.'
