حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا قَالَ وَكَانَ إِذَ
ا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً أَوْ جَيْشًا بَعَثَهُمْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ قَالَ وَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا فَكَانَ يَبْعَثُ تِجَارَتَهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ قَالَ فَأَثْرَى وَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, Yaʿlā ibn ʿAṭāʾ informed us, from ʿUmārah ibn Ḥadīd, from Ṣakhr al-Ghāmidī, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O Allah, bless my ummah in their early mornings.' He said: And whenever he dispatched a military expedition or army, he would send them out at the beginning of the day. He said: And Ṣakhr was a merchant, so he would send out his merchandise at the beginning of the day, and he became prosperous and his wealth increased greatly.
