Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَاءُ
أُمَّتِي بِالطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا الطَّعْنُ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ فَمَا الطَّاعُونُ قَالَ وَخْزُ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنْ الْجِنِّ وَفِي كُلٍّ شُهَدَاءُ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from Ziyād ibn ʿIlāqah, from a man, from Abū Mūsā, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The destruction of my ummah will be through stabbing and plague.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we know stabbing, but what is plague?' He said: 'A pricking by your enemies among the jinn, and in both there are martyrs.'
