حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ أُغْمِيَ عَلَى أَبِي مُوسَى فَبَكَوْا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي ب
َرِيءٌ مِمَّنْ بَرِئَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلُوا عَنْ ذَلِكَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَقَالَتْ مَنْ حَلَقَ أَوْ خَرَقَ أَوْ سَلَقَ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Manṣūr, from Ibrāhīm, from Yazīd ibn Aws, who said: Abū Mūsā lost consciousness, and they wept over him. He said: 'I am free of anyone whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared himself free of.' They asked his wife about that, and she said: '[He is free of] whoever shaves, or tears [garments], or wails loudly.'
