English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAwf, from Khālid al-Aḥdab, from Ṣafwān ibn Muḥriz, who said: Abū Mūsā lost consciousness, and they wept over him. When he regained consciousness, he said: 'I declare to you my innocence from whomever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared himself innocent of — from whoever shaves, or tears [garments], or wails loudly.'
