حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَ
رَأَيْتَ الرَّجُلَ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً فَأَيُّ ذَلِكَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Shaqīq, from Abū Mūsā, who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what of the man who fights out of bravery, fights out of partisanship, and fights to show off — which of these is in the path of Allah?' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights so that the word of Allah عز وجل is supreme, then he is in the path of Allah عز وجل.'
