حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ تَعَاهَدُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ مِنْ عُقُلِهِ
قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ قُلْتُ لِبُرَيْدٍ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثُ الَّتِي حَدَّثْتَنِي عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هِيَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَقُولُ لَكَ

English Translation
Abū Aḥmad narrated to us, Burayd ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, Abū Burdah narrated to us, from Abū Mūsā, who said: 'Take care of this Quran, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, it slips away faster than camels from their hobbles.' Abū Aḥmad said: I said to Burayd: 'Are these ḥadīths that you narrated to me from Abū Burdah from Abū Mūsā from the Prophet ﷺ?' He said: 'They are from the Prophet ﷺ, but I will not confirm that to you.'
