English Translation

Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Thābit, meaning Ibn ʿUmārah, from Ghunaym, from Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'If a woman applies perfume and then goes out among people so that they may smell her fragrance, then she is such-and-such' — meaning an adulteress.
