حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةٌ يُؤْتَوْنَ أُجُورَهُمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ رَجُلٌ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَمَةٌ فَأَدَّبَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَأْدِيبَهَا
وَعَلَّمَهَا فَأَحْسَنَ تَعْلِيمَهَا ثُمَّ أَعْتَقَهَا فَتَزَوَّجَهَا وَمَمْلُوكٌ أَعْطَى حَقَّ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَحَقَّ مَوَالِيهِ وَرَجُلٌ آمَنَ بِكِتَابِهِ وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي الشَّعْبِيُّ خُذْهَا بِغَيْرِ شَيْءٍ وَلَوْ سِرْتَ فِيهَا إِلَى كَرْمَانَ لَكَانَ ذَلِكَ يَسِيرًا

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Ṣāliḥ, from al-Shaʿbī, from Abū Burdah, from Abū Mūsā, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Three will receive their reward twice: a man who had a slave girl whom he disciplined and did so well, taught her and did so well, then freed her and married her — he has two rewards. A slave who fulfills the right of Allah عز وجل and the right of his masters. And a man who believed in his Book and in Muḥammad ﷺ.' Al-Shaʿbī said to me: 'Take this without paying anything — even if you traveled to Karmān for it, that would be little.'
