حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَن الْأَعْمَشِ عَن شَقِيقٍ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ رَجُلًا أ
َحَبَّ قَوْمًا وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ قَالَ أَبِي وَكَذَا حَدَّثَنَاهُ وَكِيعٌ عَن سُفْيَانَ عَن الْأَعْمَشِ عَن شَقِيقٍ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ أَيْضًا عَن أَبِي مُوسَى
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Shaqīq, from Abū Mūsā, who said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who loves a people but has not caught up with them (in deeds)?' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A person is with those whom he loves.' My father said: And likewise Wakīʿ narrated it to us from Sufyān, from al-Aʿmash, from Shaqīq, from Abū Mūsā; and Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd also from Abū Mūsā.
