حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ ال
لَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ وَإِنَّ أَبِي أَتَاهُ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAmr ibn Murrah who said: I heard ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Awfā رضي الله عنه — and he was among the Companions of the Tree — say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whenever charity was brought to him, would say, 'O Allah, send blessings upon them.' When my father brought him his charity, he said, 'O Allah, send blessings upon the family of Abū Awfā.'
