حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَ
يْدٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ وَغِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا مَا أَنَا قُلْتُهُ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَهُ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAlī ibn Zayd, from al-Mughīrah ibn Abī Barzah, from his father who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Aslam — Allah has made peace with them. Ghifār — Allah has forgiven them. It is not I who said it, but rather Allah عز وجل said it.’
