حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُكَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ سَمِعَ أَ
بَا بَرْزَةَ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْأَئِمَّةُ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ إِذَا اسْتُرْحِمُوا رَحِمُوا وَإِذَا عَاهَدُوا وَفَوْا وَإِذَا حَكَمُوا عَدَلُوا فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

English Translation
Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd narrated to us, Sukayn narrated to us, Sayyār ibn Salāmah narrated to us. He heard Abū Barzah raising it to the Prophet ﷺ who said: ‘The leaders are from Quraysh, so long as they fulfill three: when mercy is sought from them, they show mercy; when they make a covenant, they fulfill it; when they judge, they do so justly. Whoever among them does not do that — upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind.’
