حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنِ صَاحِبٍ لَهُ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ عِم
ْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ بِالْكُوفَةِ فَصَلَّى بِنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَجَعَلَ يُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ وَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ صَلَّى بِنَا هَذَا مِثْلَ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us: Sa‘īd narrated to us, from Ghaylan ibn Jarīr. And Abd al-Wahhāb narrated to us, from a companion of his, from Ghaylan ibn Jarīr, from Mutarrif ibn al-Shikhkhīr, who said: I was with ‘Imrān ibn Husayn in Kūfah, and ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib led us in prayer. He would say the takbīr every time he prostrated and every time he raised his head. When he finished, ‘Imrān said: This man has prayed with us a prayer like the prayer of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ.
