حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأُنْزِلَ فِيهَا ا
لْقُرْآنُ قَالَ عَفَّانُ وَنَزَلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ فَمَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهَا وَلَمْ يَنْسَخْهَا شَيْءٌ قَالَ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ

English Translation
Bahz narrated to us. And ‘Affān narrated to us with the same meaning. They said: Hammām narrated to us, from Qatādah, from Mutarrif, who said: ‘Imrān ibn Husayn said: We performed Tamattu‘ (combining ‘Umrah and Hajj) with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and the Qur’ān was revealed regarding it. ‘Affān said: And the Qur’ān was revealed about it. Then the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ died without forbidding it, and nothing abrogated it. A man expressed his own opinion about it as he wished.
