حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ عَضَّ رَجُل

ٌ رَجُلًا فَانْتُزِعَتْ ثَنِيَّتُهُ فَأَبْطَلَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَقْضَمَ يَدَ أَخِيكَ كَمَا يَقْضَمُ الْفَحْلُ

English Translation

Abd al-Razzāq narrated to us: Ma‘mar narrated to us, from Ayyūb, from Ibn Sīrīn, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: A man bit another man, and his front tooth was pulled out. the Prophet ﷺ dismissed the claim and said: Did you want to gnaw your brother’s hand as a stallion gnaws?
