حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى صَ
لَاةَ الظُّهْرِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ أَيُّكُمْ قَرَأَ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ أَنَا فَقَالَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ خَالَجَنِيهَا
English Translation
Ismā‘īl narrated to us: Sa‘īd informed us, from Qatādah, from Zurārah ibn Awfā, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ prayed the Zuhr prayer. When he gave the salām, he said: Which of you recited Sabbih Isma Rabbika al-A‘lā? A man from the group said: I did. He said: I knew that one of you was contending with me in it.
