English Translation

Ismā‘īl narrated to us, from ‘Alī ibn Zayd, from Abū Nadrah, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: I was present with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ at the Conquest. He stayed in Makkah for eighteen nights, praying only two rak‘ahs. Then he said to the people of the town: Pray four, for we are travelers.
