حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ أَبِي زَيْنَبَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى الْقُشَيْرِيِّ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَ
لَّمَ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ أَيُّكُمْ قَرَأَ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَقَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ خَالَجَنِيهَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Mahbūb ibn al-Hasan ibn Hilāl ibn Abī Zaynab narrated to us: Khālid narrated to us, from Zurārah ibn Awfā al-Qushayrī, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ prayed the Zuhr prayer. When he finished, he said: Which of you recited Sabbih Isma Rabbika al-A‘lā? One of the group said: I did, O Messenger of Allāh. He said: I knew that one of you was contending with me in it.
