English Translation
Yahyā narrated to us: ‘Imrān al-Qasīr narrated to us: Abū Rajā’ narrated to us, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: The verse of al-Mut‘ah (Tamattu‘ in Hajj) was revealed in the Book of Allāh — blessed and exalted is He — and we practiced it with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. No verse was revealed to abrogate it, and the Prophet ﷺ did not forbid it until he died.
