حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشُّعَيْثِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ وَعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَا مَا خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُطْبَةً إِلَّا أَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَنَهَانَا عَنْ الْمُثْلَةِ
English Translation
Wakī‘ narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Abdillāh al-Shu‘aythī narrated to us, from Abū Qilābah, from Samurah ibn Jundub and ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who both said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ never delivered a sermon to us except that he commanded us to give charity and forbade us from mutilation.
