‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏وَكِيعٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الشُّعَيْثِيُّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ‏ ‏وَعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ‏ ‏قَالَا ‏ ‏مَا خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏خُطْبَةً إِلَّا ‏ ‏أَمَرَنَا ‏ ‏بِالصَّدَقَةِ ‏ ‏وَنَهَانَا عَنْ ‏ ‏الْمُثْلَةِ ‏

English Translation

Wakī‘ narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Abdillāh al-Shu‘aythī narrated to us, from Abū Qilābah, from Samurah ibn Jundub and ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who both said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ never delivered a sermon to us except that he commanded us to give charity and forbade us from mutilation.
