English Translation
Wakī‘ narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Jāmi‘ ibn Shaddād, from Safwān ibn Muhriz al-Māzinī, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: A group from Banū Tamīm came to the Prophet ﷺ. He said: Receive glad tidings! They said: You have given us glad tidings, so give us something. Then a group from Yemen came. the Prophet ﷺ said: Accept the glad tidings, since Banū Tamīm did not accept them.
