حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ تَمَتَّعْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَنْهَنَا عَنْهَا وَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ فِيهَا نَهْيٌ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Ḥammād narrated to us, Ḥumayd informed us, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, who said: ‘We performed Tamattuʿ during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, and he did not forbid us from it, nor was any prohibition revealed regarding it.’
