َّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ أَخَاكُمْ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَصَفَفْنَا فَصَلَّيْنَا عَلَيْهِ كَمَا تُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ

English Translation

ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Yūnus narrated to us, from Ibn Sīrīn, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Your brother the Negus has died, so stand and pray over him.’ He said: We formed rows and prayed over him as you pray over the deceased.
